I have forgotten my account password, can you send me my password?

Unfortunately for security reasons, we do not store readable passwords. However, if you have forgotten your password, simply go to the home page, select the Login tab. Then enter your email address, click Reset Password. We will then reset your account password and send you your new password and verification code.

I have not received my Confirmation email or Verification code

When an account is created at CVSafe an email is automatically generated and sent to the email address supplied at the time of the account being created.

If you believe you have not received the email confirmation, you should firstly check your email junk or spam folders, if you still believe you have not received it, login to your account using your email address and password used to create your account and select the resend my verification code.

Who will have access to my CV information?

Your CV / Resume will only be accessible and editable by you, do not give out your account details to anybody. You will be given the option of allowing potential employers and agencies to search and view your CV, but this is optional.

You may also want friends to view a specific CV / Resume you have created, this can be done by setting a password on the CV / Resume you want to allow them to view. If you choose to set up a password on a CV / Resume Those wishing to view it will need to provide your account email address and the password you have specified for the viewable CV / Resume.

How do I delete my CV / Resume?

You cannot delete your CV once it has been created. We have found that some users, who deleted their CV, later regretted doing so and asked us if we kept a copy, which we did not after it had been deleted.

Your CV is fully editable and if you need to make amends you can simply edit the details of your CV you are not happy with. You can also choose not to show certain sections of your CV

Why would I need more than one CV / Resume?

It is good to tailor your CV / Resume to the job you are applying for. Different positions will place different degrees of emphasis on the various skills you possess.

Havng more than one CV / Resume will enable you to emphasise the particular achievements, skills, experience and personal qualities that a particular employer is looking for.

Why has my account been locked out?

At CVSafe we try to ensure your information is kept safe at all times. If we believe that your account maybe compromised, we will take steps to safe-guard your information. Accounts are usually locked when continuous, unsuccessful attempts to access your account are recorded. This could be when someone who knows your email address tries to access your account by guessing your account password.

How do I know what my CV will look like?

Your CV can be previewed at any stage, and different layouts can be applied, previewed and downloaded at no extra cost.
